All Explained About Cloud Computing Solutions
We do not realize it but are using cloud computing for over a decade. Whether we have to send an email with an attachment to us from our home computer and then sign in to email at work to access the attachment.
What is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing is a term used for the on-demand delivery of
IT resources with the help of the internet with pay-to-use charges. Clouds can
be private or public. Anyone can purchase the services over the internet
through the public cloud. Through the private cloud, only a limited number of
people can get the services. A private cloud is a network or a data centre also
which supplies the hosted services to a limited number of people. To access the
private cloud certain access and permission settings are required. The goal of
the private or public cloud is to provide easy, scalable access to resources of
computing and IT services. Instead of buying and maintaining computer products
and services, we can pay for cloud computing services. It saves time, effort, and cost of doing it all by
yourself. The Three Major Cloud Service Models
Cloud computing services divided into three models and
these are:
⦁ Software as a Service (SaaS)
⦁ Platform as a Service (PaaS)
⦁ Infrastructure as a Service
(IaaS)
Software services are offered under a platform.
⦁ Platform service is offered under infrastructure as a service.
⦁ Infrastructure: This is known as the foundation on which services are built.
Why Choose The Cloud?
Why would you not want to have your computers, servers,
staffers, and offices to run a company?
1.
It's on-demand
Cloud services are on-demand, which means we can access
the services anywhere and anytime. Space and size are not limited.
2. It's cheaper
We don't need to purchase computers, rent office space or
hire staff. Different models of cloud services provide all these options. This
provides huge savings as we need to pay for what we want.
3. It's flexible
As we pay only for those we want and what we want which
is accessible anywhere, we can increase or decrease the scope of the projects
or the intensity of work as needed.
The services we will choose depend on:
·
The scale of
business
·
Business structure
· Outsourcing of Work
Working of cloud computing
The working of cloud computing solutions includes permission for
client devices to access data over the internet, from remote servers,
databases, and computers. In this process a connection is established between
the front end and the back end. The front end includes client access, device,
browser, network, and cloud software applications while the back end contains
databases, servers, and computers. The back end work as a repository, storing
data that is accessed by the front end. The central server managed the services
between the front end and back end. The central server depends on protocols
through which we can exchange data. To manage the connectivity between
different client devices and cloud servers central server uses both software
and middleware. Every application contains a dedicated server for each
application.
Cloud computing vs. traditional web hosting
A cloud service has three characteristics through which
we can differentiate cloud computing from traditional web hosting. We can
access a large amount of computing power on demand. Cloud computing services are like
elastic- which means a user can have as much or as little of a service as they
want at any given time. Everything is managed by the provider while the
consumer only needs to have a personal computer and internet access.
